Clinically, we largely treat an active population of all age ranges. Within Calgary, we are highly regarded in the climbing, triathlon, hockey, OCR and biking communities. We take pride in offering 30-60 minute 1-on-1 assessment/treatment sessions. Caseloads are comprised of 90% private pay with the remaining 10% being a mix of MVA and WCB. Our therapists offer treatment specialties in Dry needling, Vestibular, Concussion and Pre/postpartum care.
And along with our private training sessions and group classes, we strive to support all patients and facility members on their journey to recovery and help them achieve their full potential.
- Registration in good standing with College of Physiotherapists of Alberta and professional malpractice insurance.
- Experience in treating MSK and sport related injuries.
- Experience as a practicing physiotherapist working with an active population.
- 2+ years of clinical experience in private practice is an asset.
- Available to work a minimum 3 days per week.
- Demonstrates a commitment to post-graduate professional development.
- Certifications in Manual Therapy and Dry Needling/Acupuncture are essential.
- Certifications in Sport Therapy, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Concussion Management and Pelvic Floor are assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to maintain and manage a large fee-for-service caseload.
- Utilization of electronic charting for documentation.
- Has strong and effective communication, and interactions with all patients, the clinical and administrative staff, other healthcare professionals, and the public is required.
- Able to assess and implement a treatment plan as an independent practitioner but able to collaborate and or refer within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team when needed.
- Demonstrates professionalism, leadership qualities, critical thinking, effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to educate, advise and motivate both patients and team members.
- Be an active participant in monthly clinic rounds.
