Bump, birth & beyond is seeking a Physiotherapist who specializes in pelvic floor physio to support clients who are within their reproductive years.

But…. we do not want you to come and work with us. We want you to grow with us. We want you to contribute to and to help us to create a unique model of health care (bundled care). We want you to live out your passion through your profession. And we want you to feel inspired, and we want you to flex your creativity as you deliver exceptional care to our clients. We do not want you to come and work at our clinic… we want your work (and practice) as a Physiotherapist to grow your profession, and to feed your passion for health care.

Bump, birth & beyond is a NEW integrative and collaborative health clinic that meets the needs of people and families as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and up to ten years postpartum. Our clinic is the one-stop-shop for people who want to experience bundled care. Bundled care provides a continuum of care where a team of practitioners work collaboratively so their clients experience care that is comprehensive, familiar, and predictable from start, to finish. We believe that bundled care can address the fragmented, disconnected, and inconsistent health-care delivery that so many clients experience.

Clinic supports for our team members:

· Location, location, location: Conveniently located on Main Street, Airdrie, our clinic is a beautiful and spacious space with a reception area, group space, private offices, team-room. It is all wheel-chair accessible.

· Client caseload ready for your start date

· Equipment and supplies to support clients at every stage of their reproductive/postpartum journey.

· Inter-clinic referrals

· Quarterly in-services for interdisciplinary collaboration.

· Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and scheduling software.

· Full Reception and Admin support

· Marketing opportunities and community events.

· Billing and reconciliation.

· On-site laundry.

· Free parking.

Our ideal Physiotherapist will:

· Assess, manage, and facilitate treatment plans.

· Empower clients to develop their mind-body-breath connection to promote physiological labour and birth.

· Support group care by creating and delivering seminars.

· Share knowledge and skills with fellow care providers (midwives, massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, to name a few).

· Recommend and refer supportive treatments/therapies to optimize the client’s health and well-being.

· Plan and facilitate treatment plans to ensure clients and their children achieve their health care goals.

· Deliver client care in accordance with the professional and regulatory standards as dictated by the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta

Qualifications:

· Must hold a Baccalaureate or a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy by an accredited organization.

· Hold an active practice license and registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.

· Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Physiotherapist.

· Minimum 1 year of experience performing pelvic floor physio with clients who are pregnant and postpartum.

· Post-graduate Certification of Completion/Proof of Training of pelvic floor physiotherapy

· Certification in trauma-informed care within the past 5 years.

· Police – check (within the past 12 months)

· CPR certification (within the past 24 months)

· Superior interpersonal skills and a strong ability to build trust and rapport with clients.

· Self-starter who has excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage workload effectively.

· Experience working within a collaborative care model and with reproductive health.

· Life-long learner who actively seeks out evidence-based information to inform the delivery of care.

· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

· Commitment to serving clients from rural communities, various cultures, and backgrounds in an inclusive and judgement-free manner.

Percentage-based contract (minimum 1-year), preferably 2-5 years

Flexible and competitive % split

Pay: Approximately $95-$115 per hour

Remember, a detailed profile increases your visibility and effectiveness across the AAP community

2. ADD YOUR 'FIND A PHYSIO' LISTING

New Find a Physio directory is launching soon!

If you’ve already created a profile or claimed a clinic, it will seamlessly transition to the new tool, allowing you to edit it. For those who haven’t created a profile yet, you’ll be able to do so once the new tool is launched.

Next, let’s ensure you’re discoverable in our ‘Find A Physio’ database (launching soon!).

  1. Get Started: Select ‘Create a Physiotherapist Listing‘ in your Guest Non-Member Dashboard and opt for the free non-member plan. Ensure your practice stands out by accurately completing your form. Be sure to complete as many of the fields as possible, including conditions treated, treatment types, languages, etc. The more information included in your listing, the more likely you are to be found by Albertans needing your services.
  2. NOTE: Please make sure you’ve added your location on the map. If you don’t want to list your physical address, you can list your postal code and primary city (or just the city). 
  3. Clinic Listings: While completing your Physiotherapist profile, you’ll have the option to link your profile to the clinics where you work. Our database already includes many clinics across Alberta, aiming for comprehensive coverage. If you’re part of multiple clinics, you can link each one to your profile for broader visibility.
    • Missing Clinic? If your clinic isn’t listed, encourage the clinic owner, director or manager to create their guest account and submit their listing. Be sure to include critical information like conditions treated, treatment types, business hours and more. 
  4. Claim an Existing Clinic: If your clinic is pre-listed, take a moment to claim it. Personalize your clinic’s profile with specialties, treatment types, business hours, logos, and photos. A robust profile increases your clinic’s visibility, helping Albertans find the right care quickly and easily. To claim and take ownership of an existing Clinic listing find and open your clinic listing, click on the ‘Claim’ button at the bottom of the listing and follow the prompts.
  5. Complete Your Listing: Submit the form and and you’ll be taken to checkout. There is no cost for creating your physiotherapy or clinic listing. Complete checkout for free and publish your listing.

3. CREATE YOUR other LISTINGS

Job Board: Reach over 3,312 physiotherapists with your job postings, up for 30 days. You can renew your listing as many times as needed. To get started, Add a job board listing.

Marketplace: Utilize our marketplace to sell services or equipment, or post about available office space. Renewals available. Get started selling in the marketplace.

Professional Development Opportunities: Share your courses or workshops for 30 days, making it accessible to a wide network of professionals. Listing renewal is available. Publish your Professional Development Opportunity.

To publish your listing, follow the prompts and fill out all fields comprehensively. Paid listings will prompt you for credit card payment. Some postings may require AAP administrator review or approval before being published.

MANAGE YOUR LISTINGS

You can return to your profile at any time to update, revise, or renew your listings. Staying active and current amplifies your reach and engagement within Alberta’s physiotherapy community.
