Judy’s philosophy of care has three dominant themes: 1) patient-
centered management, 2) patient education and empowerment, and 3) movement is
medicine. Her hope is that through an individualized, active exercise program, you
will feel confident in what you are doing and why and be able to turn weaknesses
into strengths to not just feel better but to prevent further injury and improve overall
health and wellness.
Judy graduated from the University of Alberta in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in
Physical Therapy. She went on to complete her Masters of Science in Physical
Therapy in 1997 and her PhD in Rehabilitation Medicine in 2011. She also has a

active in shoulder research.
