Diane is a graduate of the University of Toronto and a proud University of British Columbia alumna. Since graduating in 1995, she has attained a Fellowship in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (2004), Gunn IMS certification (2008), certification in Mindfulness Based Solutions to Chronic Pain (2016), Bradcliff Breathing Method (2018) and GLA:D Certified for treating Osteoarthritis. Diane is curious and values ongoing education.
Diane collaborates and volunteers with other health care providers to provide treatment, courses, conferences and ongoing learning to improve the quality of health care delivery in Alberta and beyond. She is passionate about movement as medicine and finding the right combination of treatment and self-management to help patients reach their goals. Diane treats people of all ages including elite athletes, weekend warriors and those living with complex chronic pain conditions.
Diane is happiest when outside with family and friends and loves combining travel with skiing, biking, hiking or climbing. With a recent empty nest, she and her husband now do their best to keep up with their university student offspring on their family adventures. She is a former varsity rower and grew up running around the woods in the West Kootenay-Boundary region of British Columbia.
