Physiotherapist Bio
I have worked in the area of outpatient physiotherapy for many years. I currently treat adult musculoskeletal patients, including spinal and peripheral joint problems. In addition, the Misericordia Hospital Physiotherapy department offers two virtual programs. The Osteoporosis program is a virtual 7 week class, with education on osteoporosis basics, back care, fall prevention, balance exercises, aerobic exercises. We also offer a program for patients following breast cancer surgery (Healing Connections). Classes cover posture tips, regaining shoulder movement after surgery, with progression to strengthening exercises. This program also includes sessions with a Dietitian and Occupational Therapist. Patients may also come for therapy in person for assessment and treatment for physiotherapy management of osteoporosis or during breast cancer surgery recovery. Our clinic is under contract with the OCPS program, some visits may be funded through AHS. Self pay is also available.
