Blake Goehring
Physiotherapist's Details
Blake and his wife Jen are the co-founders of Stride Physiotherapy and Wellness. Blake has spent seven years as a part-time instructor in the Occupational and Physical therapy assistant program (OPTA) at Red Deer Polytechnic. Blake has taken training to become a Certified Manual Therapist and is on the Physiotherapy Alberta roster for spinal manipulation and Diagnostic Imaging (ability to refer). He has also been certified in Functional Dry Needling (FDN) and is on the Physiotherapy Alberta roster for dry needling (also called IMS). He also is certified in Vestibular Physiotherapy and uses his training to treat vertigo and the many other symptoms associated with vestibular dysfunction.
Blake has a strong belief that both active and passive therapies are necessary for complete resolution and prevention of injuries. He has a passion for treating all levels of athletes. His goal is to assist his patients achieve optimal performance and provide them with the proper tools to get there.
Blake enjoys playing hockey, squash, running, and skiing. He is a proud husband to fellow Stride member Jen and father to his wonderful kids Malcolm and Bridgette.
