About This Opportunity

SMART PT is offering an upcoming 1 weekend course to train physiotherapists in the management of craniofacial and temporomandibular joint dysfunction.  This course will explore relationships between the upper cervical region and the TMJ.  You will learn manual therapy based strategies to manage TMD as well as upper cervical pain, cervicogenic dizziness and headaches.  The course will cover anatomy, biomechanics, conditions, assessment and treatment.  We will discuss appropriate referrals to promote multi-disciplinary care and optimize outcomes.  There will be hands on training in practical skills that you can immediately integrate into your practice.

About the Organization

The mission of SMART PT is to provide practical training based on foundational anatomic and biomechanical principles that will immediately and positively influence your practice and improve your clinical outcomes.  The goal is to make the complex easily understandable in a way that can be quickly applied to your daily practice.
