About This Opportunity

The focus of this course is to develop your knowledge and ability when assessing the need for spinal mobilization / manipulation.  It includes training regarding proper screening for safe performance of these techniques. There is also detailed instruction on how to perform spinal mobilizations, including manipulations with ample opportunity for practice. Clinical reasoning and post-manipulation rehabilitation options are also discussed.  Participants are provided with access to an online training platform to prepare in advance of the practical weekend.  They are also provided with a detailed manual and a thumb drive with step by step review of all techniques learned.

About the Organization

SMART PT is owned by Jonathan and Kalie Reimer.  They are clinic owners who strongly believe manual therapy provides a framework for accurate and efficient caseload management.  The mission of SMART PT is to provide practical training based on foundational anatomic and biomechanical principles that will immediately and positively influence your practice and improve your clinical outcomes.  The goal is to make the complex easily understandable in a way that can be quickly applied to your daily practice. We are also invested in ongoing mentoring and offer many different opportunities to reinforce knowledge, develop and acquire new skills.
