Job Description

Part-Time and/or Full-Time Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
REP Physio – Riverbend | Southwest Edmonton

REP Physio is seeking a skilled and motivated Pelvic Health Physiotherapist (or pelvic/MSK mix) to join our Riverbend and/or Summerside team in Southwest Edmonton.

Since 2016, REP Physio has built a reputation as one of Edmonton’s leading private practices for clinical excellence, ethical care, and strong physician relationships. Across three locations, our team brings over 175 years of combined clinical experience, with referrals driven largely by trust within the medical community.

If you value clinical autonomy, high-level reasoning, and truly patient-centered care—this is a clinic where you can do your best work.

Why REP Physio

True Clinical Autonomy — No Compromise

You are trusted as a clinician. Full stop.

  • No cookie-cutter treatment templates
  • No assembly-line care
  • No micromanagement of your clinical decisions

You assess, diagnose, and treat based on your professional judgment. We support clinical excellence—not quotas or scripts.

A Model Built Around the Patient

Our care model is intentionally designed for quality:

  • 1:1 treatment sessions
  • Evidence-informed practice
  • Strong collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals
  • Emphasis on continuity, outcomes, and long-term relationships

Respected Within the Edmonton Medical Community

REP Physio is known for:

  • High clinical standards
  • Meaningful mentorship and professional development

Locally Owned. Community Involved.

We offer stability and experienced leadership. REP Physio is the only clinic in Edmonton that includes former University of Alberta Rehabilitation Medicine faculty, the current Chair of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic Division, multiple FCAMPT therapists, and staff who also work with a professional sports team.

The Role

We are seeking a part-time (or full-time) Pelvic Health Physiotherapist (and/or MSK mix) with experience and/or a strong interest in:

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction
  • Prenatal and postpartum care
  • Urinary incontinence (stress, urge, mixed)
  • Pelvic pain
  • Diastasis recti
  • Return to exercise and sport
  • Perimenopause and post-menopause care

Who You Are

  • Experienced in pelvic health physiotherapy (or actively pursuing certification)
  • Confident practicing independently
  • Values clinical reasoning over protocols
  • Committed to building long-term patient relationships through excellent care and community outreach
  • Focused on meaningful, outcome-driven care

What We Offer

  • Flexible part-time scheduling
  • Competitive percentage-based compensation that grows with your caseload
  • Full administrative support
  • Dedicated marketing support for women’s health services
  • Opportunity to build and shape a pelvic health program within an established clinic
  • A collaborative—but non-intrusive—leadership structure
  • Retention bonus for the right candidate
  • Health Spending Account
  • Education allowance
  • Employee or contractor models available

You’ll have the autonomy of private practice, with the support, reputation, and infrastructure of an established organization behind you.

Location

REP Physio – Riverbend and Summerside

Who This Is Not For

This role is not suited for clinicians seeking:

  • High-volume, rapid-turnover care models
  • Sales-driven KPI environments
  • Rigid treatment protocols or heavy supervision
  • Clinicians who rely on passive modalities (e.g., hot packs and TENS) as a primary treatment approach

We are looking for someone who wants to build something meaningful and sustainable.
