Job Description

Physiotherapist Opportunity — Exercise-Based, Results-Oriented Care

Soulstice Wellness Centre | Independent Contractor | Part-Time or Full-Time

Soulstice Wellness Centre is seeking a physiotherapist who values active rehabilitation, strong clinical reasoning, and meaningful patient progress. If you enjoy helping people move better, build strength, and return to the activities that matter to them, we’d like to hear from you.

This independent contractor opportunity offers flexible scheduling, a competitive commission split, and the chance to build your practice within an established multidisciplinary clinic.

Your Approach to Care

You build treatment around patient goals, using exercise, education, and appropriate hands-on care to support lasting improvements.

In this role, you will:

  • Assess musculoskeletal conditions and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Deliver progressive exercise programs that build strength, mobility, capacity, and confidence.
  • Set clear goals with patients, measure progress, and adjust treatment based on their response.
  • Help patients return to work, sport, and everyday activities with practical strategies for ongoing self-management.
  • Use manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, or other appropriate treatments to support the rehabilitation plan.
  • Collaborate with other practitioners when coordinated care would benefit the patient.
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships through clear communication and compassionate care.

Qualifications and Fit

  • Registered and eligible to practise physiotherapy in Alberta.
  • Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
  • A commitment to exercise-based rehabilitation, measurable outcomes, and patient-centred care.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to make rehabilitation understandable and achievable.
  • An interest in professional development and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Initiative and enthusiasm for building your practice and contributing ideas to the clinic.

Training in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, dry needling, or a comparable acupuncture or needling approach is a preferred asset.

We welcome both experienced physiotherapists and new graduates who share this approach to care.

Why Join Soulstice?

  • An opportunity to build your practice faster: Grow within an established multidisciplinary clinic, with opportunities for internal referrals and collaborative patient care.
  • A meaningful voice in service development: Bring your ideas and help shape how physiotherapy grows at Soulstice.
  • Flexible scheduling: Part-time and full-time options to suit your availability.
  • Competitive commission split: Compensation through an independent contractor arrangement.
  • Professional collaboration: Work alongside practitioners who value communication, shared learning, and patient progress.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing your approach to rehabilitation, relevant training, and what interests you about joining Soulstice.

We’d especially like to hear how you use exercise and patient education to help people achieve meaningful results, and what you hope to build in your physiotherapy practice.
