Physiotherapist (Locum → Potential Permanent) – Human Integrated Performance

Human Integrated Performance

Locum
14101 West Block Dr NW Suite 205, Edmonton, AB T5N 1L5 Posted May 4, 2026 Deadline: May 31, 2026

Job Description

Step into a fully booked caseload with immediate earning potential in a high-demand, multidisciplinary clinic.

Human Integrated Performance (HIP) is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist for a maternity leave locum, with a strong likelihood of transitioning into a permanent role.

This is a rare opportunity to take over an established caseload immediately, supported by strong referral channels including AHS, WCB, and a high volume of MVA referrals, along with ongoing marketing generating ~5 new patients per week per provider.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Immediate full caseload with strong referral volume (AHS, WCB, MVA)
  • Consistent weekly new patients (~5/week/provider)
  • Above-market percentage split based on experience and scope
  • high-earning potential with immediate full caseload (no ramp-up period)
  • Opportunity to scale income through a PTA-supported model (infrastructure and team experience already in place)
  • Clear pathway to a long-term role

Clinical Focus

  • Orthopedic and sports injury care
  • Concussion and vestibular rehabilitation
  • Exposure to a broad mix of AHS, WCB, and MVA cases

Preferred assets:

  • Experience with concussion and vestibular conditions
  • Dry needling / IMS certification
  • Strong manual therapy and exercise-based approach
  • Experience working with active populations

Additional Opportunity:
We have a fully equipped pelvic health treatment setup, along with website presence and marketing support, for a physiotherapist interested in building and growing a pelvic health caseload.

What You’ll Receive

  • Full administrative support (reception, billing, scheduling)
  • Established referral network and ongoing marketing
  • 1:1 treatment model (no double-booking)
  • Flexible scheduling (part-time and full-time options available)
  • Access to clinic systems (Jane, Physitrack, etc.)
  • Autonomy to develop programs, specialties, or niche services
  • Modern clinic environment with a strong team culture

Who This Role Is Ideal For

  • Registered Physiotherapist in good standing in Alberta
  • Confident managing a full, independent caseload
  • Strong clinical reasoning in orthopedic and concussion/vestibular care
  • Interested in maximizing income and building a specialized practice
  • Team-oriented, but self-driven

We value clinicians who take ownership of their caseload and are driven to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Position Details

  • Type: Locum (Maternity Leave Coverage)
  • Start: Immediate
  • Schedule: Flexible (part-time or full-time available)
  • Future Opportunity: High likelihood of permanent role
