Job Description

Pine Integrated Health Centre is a multidisciplinary centre offering essential health services to women and families. We are looking for a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist who is skilled in treating a variety of pelvic health concerns to a diverse population.

The successful candidate will have availability for at least one evening and/or weekend shift. Contractor and employee positions available.

This position can be split between our Sherwood Park & Edmonton clinics.

There will be in house referrals from our complimentary professions including Psychology, Acupuncture, Speech Language Pathology, Chiropractic, Lactation Consulting, Massage Therapy & Dieticians.

 

Responsibilities:
– Assess and evaluate patients’ physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
– Provide pelvic health physiotherapy interventions to patients with various conditions

– Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patients’ mobility, strength, and function
– Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:

-Must be registered, a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta and hold malpractice insurance.
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
– Valid license to practice as a Physiotherapist in Alberta

– Experience and passion for working with pelvic health patients
-Preference for individuals with experience in both Pediatric and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
– Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
– Able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
