Job Description

Lemon Tree Health is a boutique Physiotherapy clinic in Sherwood Park, Alberta. We offer a relaxing and welcoming space for injury rehabilitation and holistic wellness. We pride ourselves in offering one-on-one sessions in an un-rushed setting. This entails private treatment rooms, longer appointment times, and collaboration with the team to help our clients reach their goals.

We are looking for a motivated Physiotherapist who shares our same values and approach to treatment.

Responsibilities:
– Assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions
– Implement treatment such as: manual therapy, IMS needling (if qualified), shockwave therapy, and exercise prescription to reach client goals and optimize recovery
– Provide client education
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date client chart notes and files
– Work collaboratively with the team at Lemon Tree Health
– Administrative duties relating to client care: scheduling clients, running direct billing, cashing out clients, and communicating with clients in a prompt manner

Requirements:

– Bachelor/ Master’s degree of Science in Physical Therapy

– Good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta

– Experience in private practice and treating musculoskeletal injuries

– Willing to participate in marketing and community events to promote services

– Strong verbal and written communication skills

– Team player in a multi-disciplinary setting

Preferred assets:

– IMS/dry needling certification (education funding available to subsidize certification)

– Experience in concussion and/or vestibular rehabilitation (or willing to learn more in this field)

– Mckenzie Method (MDT)

1) Run your own business through a room rental agreement (ideal for clinicians with an established caseload and looking to maximize their revenue) OR

2) Competitive fee-for-service agreement (ideal for new graduates or clinicians that are still building their caseload)
