Job Description

Bolder Health and Performance is seeking a passionate Part-Time Physiotherapist to join our growing team.

The Role:
This position is ideal for a physiotherapist who enjoys working in a climbing gym environment and is comfortable practicing with a high degree of independence and clinical autonomy. The successful candidate will take over a small existing caseload from a departing therapist and will be supported in gradually building their practice within the Bolder community.

While the role is largely self-directed, you will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapy, massage therapy, and osteopathic manual therapy, with opportunities for collaboration and shared learning.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a candidate who:

  • Has an interest in climbing, outdoor recreation, or mountain sports injuries (or a strong interest in learning).
  • Is motivated to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care using current evidence-based practices.
  • Is comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative clinic environment.
  • Is proactive, motivated, and interested in growing their caseload within the Bolder community.

Requirements:

  • Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Interest in climbing and outdoor mountain sports.
  • A treatment philosophy that incorporates the biopsychosocial model of care.
  • Willingness to pursue continuing professional development (CPD) in climbing-related injuries, orthopaedics, and strength and conditioning (in-clinic education opportunities available).

Assets:

  • Knowledge of climbing or mountain sport movement mechanics and common injuries.
  • Training in IMS or dry needling.
  • Experience working with active populations or athletes.
