About the Organization
The North 49 Balance & Dizziness Centre opened in 2010 to address the growing need for vestibular therapy services in Saskatoon and surrounding communities. Too many people were living unnecessarily with dizziness and unsteadiness, and we wanted to change that.
Since then, North 49 has expanded its team of vestibular physical therapists and consultants, extending our reach to patients throughout Saskatchewan through both in-person and virtual care.
Several years ago, we decided to take our commitment to vestibular health beyond provincial borders by providing educational opportunities for healthcare professionals. Our goal was simple: to equip clinicians with the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful difference in the vestibular health and well-being of people in their own communities.
Today, our educational initiatives include in-person and online courses, webinars, free monthly educational emails, and clinical education shared through social media platforms.
Our team has been fortunate to learn from many of the pioneers and leading experts in vestibular rehabilitation. We now look forward to sharing that knowledge and experience with you, helping you build your skills and make a lasting impact in your community.
