Your Role: What You Will Be Doing As an Independant Contractor

You will be responsible for the clinical, professional, and ethical leadership of your independent practice within our clinic: 

● Provide manual therapy-based physiotherapy for musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as acute and chronic pain. 

● Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and implement tailored, evidence-based treatment plans. 

● Effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless, goal-oriented care. 

● Maintain accurate patient records and produce written reports in strict alignment with College standards. 

● Liaise proactively with referral sources and funders (including potential WCB involvement). 

● Contribute to the clinic team through collaboration, integrity, and a passion for professional excellence. 

● Engage in ongoing continuous learning and skills development.

Key Requirements

● Professional Standing: Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta (CPA).

● Education: Bachelor of Science or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.

● Experience: Two (2) years of outpatient experience is preferred, with demonstrated strong manual therapy skills. We are also willing to enthusiastically consider highly motivated new graduates.

● Independence: A self-motivated practitioner with the ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team relationship.

● Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build genuine connections with patients and colleagues.

● Community Focus: A willingness to engage in networking, community education, and patient outreach.

● Cultural Awareness: An awareness of and respect for Indigenous culture and traditions.
