About This Opportunity

GLA:D Back Clinician Training – October 3&4, 2026

What is GLA:D Back?
The purpose of GLA:D Back is to help patients better manage persistent and/or recurrent low back pain themselves through a well-described and structured treatment program. The patient program includes structured patient education sessions and supervised exercise sessions over 7 weeks, a pre- and post-program assessment, and data registration. These components are recommended as first-line interventions in several international guidelines based on expert reviews of hundreds of randomized controlled trials (see Research and Annual Reports for more – https://www.gladback.ca/researchannualreports). Data from the program is entered in a secure clinical registry so that together, we create
new knowledge about chronic low back pain and GLA:D Back can be continuously improved.

How does training work and when can I sign up?
All clinician training courses are offered virtually over two days on Saturday (8am-3pm
MST) and Sunday (8am-12pm MST). Registration is available on our website:
