Job Description
Stride Physiotherapy & Wellness is seeking a full-time Physiotherapist to join our established multidisciplinary clinic in Red Deer, Alberta.
You won’t be starting from scratch. With strong patient demand, established referral pathways, and an immediate caseload, you’ll be able to step into a busy practice while receiving the mentorship and support needed to continue growing.
You’ll join a collaborative team that includes 14 physiotherapists across Stride and healthcare professionals from seven disciplines. Whether you’re a new graduate looking for structured mentorship or an experienced clinician seeking a supportive environment where you can continue developing your clinical interests, we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you will:
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs, goals, movement, function, and clinical presentation.
- Deliver evidence-informed physiotherapy using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education, and movement-based rehabilitation.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships and contribute to an exceptional patient experience.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, massage therapists, kinesiologists, chiropractors, manual osteopaths, dietitians, counsellors, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in mentorship, case discussions, team learning, and ongoing professional development.
- Contribute positively to a clinic culture grounded in caring, collaboration, integrity, community, and continued growth.
Our ideal candidate:
- Is registered or eligible for registration with Physiotherapy Alberta.
- Is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred, evidence-informed care.
- Communicates well and builds positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Values teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Is open to learning, feedback, mentorship, and continued professional growth.
- Is professional, reliable, and interested in contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Previous clinical experience is an asset, but it is not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
What you can expect at Stride:
- An immediate caseload supported by strong patient demand and established referral pathways.
- A predominantly private-pay caseload with minimal MVA involvement and no AHS or WCB contracts.
- A maximum of two patients per hour, allowing you to provide high-quality care without feeling rushed.
- A private treatment room for every patient.
- Structured mentorship for new graduates and ongoing clinical collaboration for experienced physiotherapists.
- A team of 14 physiotherapists across Stride, creating an exceptional environment for mentorship, case discussion, and professional growth.
- Competitive compensation with opportunities for growth and retention incentives.
- Signing bonus and relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.
- Full administrative and support staff assistance.
- Flexible scheduling options.
- Opportunities to pursue and develop special interests within physiotherapy.
- A supportive multidisciplinary environment where clinicians regularly share ideas, discuss cases, and learn from one another.
About the Company
Stride was founded in 2018 with a commitment to creating a clinic where patients and team members feel genuinely supported, valued, and cared for and where we remain closely connected to the communities we serve.
Today, Stride has grown into one of Central Alberta’s leading multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams. Our Red Deer clinic brings together physiotherapists, massage therapists, kinesiologists, manual osteopaths, dietitians, and counsellors. We also collaborate closely with our sister clinic in Blackfalds, whose team also includes chiropractic care.
We believe exceptional patient care starts with clinicians who feel supported and empowered to grow. That’s why we invest in onboarding, mentorship, team learning, strong administrative systems, caseload building, and an environment where clinicians can build a practice they love.
Our culture is grounded in caring, collaboration, community-mindedness, and integrity. These values guide how we support our patients, one another, and the communities we serve.
