The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Physiotherapist to join our team as we launch our expanded physio space.

This is a unique opportunity to:

Your Role

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Educate patients and promote long-term health and performance
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Ideal Candidate

  • Registered (or eligible) with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
  • Strong interest in orthopedic and/or sports physiotherapy
  • Experience or interest in:
    • Active rehab and exercise-based treatment
    • Manual therapy
    • Concussion / vestibular rehab (asset)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow within a clinic

Duties

  • Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations and medical history reviews
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, recovery processes, and home exercises
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Assist in the management of acute care cases and pediatric patients as needed

Requirements

  • Valid license or certification as a Physiotherapist in the respective region or country
  • Proven experience in hospital settings with a focus on acute care preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
  • Compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
