Opportunity Description
SMART PT is offering an upcoming 1 weekend course in manual therapy for the upper cervical region and TMJ. This course will cover the most common conditions affecting these areas leading to pain, dizziness, headaches and dysfunction. Your diagnostic capabilities will be enhanced and you will learn how to treat the conditions amenable to physiotherapy and who to refer to when they are not. You will better understand the biomechanics and be able to confidently apply manual therapy techniques to the joint and myofascial structures for effective treatment. You will also be taught exercises that will reinforce your hands on management.
About The Organization
The instructors Jonathan Reimer and Nadine Fennig, are clinic owners, each with 30 years of experience. They have pursued different post-graduate education opportunities and have come to the conclusion that manual therapy provides a superior framework for accurate and efficient caseload management. The mission of SMART PT is to provide practical training based on foundational anatomic and biomechanical principles that will immediately and positively influence your practice and improve your clinical outcomes. The goal is to make the complex easily understandable in a way that can be quickly applied to your daily practice.
Additional Information
Earn individual course certificates or pursue your manual therapy diploma from SMART PT with successful completion of the 4 core courses which include: Upper and Lower Spinal (or the combined version), Upper Cervical and TMJ and the Extremities course.
