PEACE RIVER PHYSICAL THERAPY LTD. O/A Grande Prairie Physiotherapy & Massage is now hiring Permanent Full-time Registered Physiotherapist for Grande Prairie, AB(Primary Location) and Peace River, AB (Secondary Location) area.

Duties include:

Assess patients' physical abilities through evaluative procedures such as functional ability tests
Establish treatment goals with patients based on physical diagnoses
Plan and implement programs of physiotherapy including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, massage, education, the use of electro-therapeutic and other mechanical equipment and hydrotherapy
Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and modify accordingly
Provide advice on exercise and strategies to implement at home to enhance and or maintain treatment
Communicate with referring physician and other health care professionals regarding patients' problems, needs and progress
Maintain clinical and statistical records and confer with other health care professionals
Develop and implement health promotion programs for patients, staff and the community
Wage rate: Wages range $44 - $45 per hour for 35 to 40 hours work per week
Two weeks paid time off per year
Education and Employment Requirements: Must be a License and active registration with a regulatory body in Alberta. With a university degree in Physiotherapy and completed a period of supervised practical training is required.

Benefits: Extended Health Care Benefits offered after 3 months of Employment.

- Education:

Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) from a Canadian university
OR equivalent international degree assessed as comparable by Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR).

License/Certification:

Must be eligible for registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.

Language of work: English
