Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. This role goes beyond traditional patient rehabilitation. You’ll collaborate closely with chiropractors, performance coaches, and massage therapists to create comprehensive treatment plans that bridge clinical care with athletic development. Whether working one-on-one with clients recovering from injury or contributing to strength-based rehab programs, you’ll help shape outcomes that align with our progressive care model: Relieve pain. Restore movement. Build resilience.

Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions using evidence-informed practices.
- Design individualized rehab plans that integrate manual therapy, exercise prescription, education, and technology-enhanced assessments (e.g. wearable sensors).
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless client care through all phases of recovery and performance.
- Contribute to internal programming, including strength-based rehabilitation and small group movement classes.
- Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with provincial regulations and clinic standards.
- Engage in community outreach and educational events to promote Ascent’s mission and services.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy, sports medicine, and injury prevention.

Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills with a focus on active, functional rehab approaches.
- Experience working with athletes and active individuals is a strong asset.
- Additional certifications or training in areas such as dry needling, acupuncture, advanced manual therapy, or pelvic health are considered a plus.
- Passionate about movement, performance, and a collaborative approach to care.
- Comfortable working with high-end rehab technologies and open to continued learning and innovation.
