We are looking for a Performance Physiotherapist to join our team!⁣

Sick of seeing 3-4 patients / hour?⁣

Tired of working in an outdated model or never seeing clients motivated to make a full recovery?

What to Expect?
1 on 1 long sessions⁣.

A tiered system of pay with a menu of incentive options, and room for growth.

Collaboration with Sports Medicine Physicians, Physiatrists, Orthopedic Surgeons, Strength and Conditioning Specialists and Sports Scientists.⁣
⁣Routine Business and Clinical Individual & Team CPD, working with a rehab team delivering care using a modern evidence informed approach⁣.

Access to ORKA-vetted and respected virtual educational platforms, paid for by the brand, to reduce barriers of access to develop technical and clinical skillsets.

Access to ORKA Education content, with offerings of both virtual and live events.

Access to ORKA Rounds, a weekly multi-disciplinary collaboration session to discuss challenging cases and pathologies.⁣

2000 sq ft Rehabilitation Space and 3500 sq ft Performance Center⁣
⁣Sports Science Area (in partnership with VALD Performance) including dual force plates, isometric testing devices (Forceframe, Dynamo, Nordbord), isometric racks, speed gates (Smart Speed) and biomechanical analysis software to better inform your return to play decision making and improve outcomes⁣.

⁣Access to other rehabilitation technology like Virtual Reality, Blood Flow Restriction, Stroboscopic Goggles, surface EMG, digital inclinometers and accelerometers, IMU technology and athlete management softwares.

⁣Interest in working within a multidisciplinary setting⁣
⁣Interest in the importance of the practitioner/client therapeutic alliance⁣
See’s the value in interpersonal communication, social agility, active listening to your rehab stakeholders, and using adaptive strategies to navigate patient-clinician rehab journey dynamics
High external and internal self-awareness

Assets⁣
Knowledge of the biopsychosocial approach to injury management⁣
⁣Orthopaedic Coursework⁣
⁣IMS / Dry Needling⁣
⁣An interest in Business⁣ / Brand Development
⁣Knowledge / Certifications of Strength and Conditioning Principles.
⁣Knowledge / Coursework in the following populations: Rotator Cuff Related Shoulder Pain, Acute Knee Injuries, Lateral / High Ankle Sprains, Musculotendinous injuries, Athletic Groin Pain, Spinal Pain with / without radiculopathy.⁣

Schedule: FULL TIME, 5 days/week, fluctuating shift hours, may require weekend shift.

Pay: Base Pay with access to menu of incentive options and time in practice amplifiers.

The process: Requires video resume submission, verbal interview (20 minutes), questionnaires and discovery, and practical interview.
