Physiotherapist: Part-Time to Start, Room to Grow

physiobox Physiotherapy and Coaching

Part-Time
2985 23 Ave NE #125, Calgary, AB T1Y 7L3 Posted October 5, 2026

Job Description

At physiobox, we take the time to understand what’s driving a patient’s problem, build a clear plan, and help them get back to moving with confidence. Our aim is for patients to get better and move on stronger. Our offices are located inside King’s Fitness Sunridge, a fully equipped gym that allows for treatment with a strong emphasis on movement and exercise. We’re looking for a physiotherapist who wants to practice that way.

How we work:

– One patient at a time: 60-minute one-on-one rehab visits and 75-minute initial assessments, building to around 15 patients per week part-time and 20-25 full-time
– Private treatment rooms plus a full 12 000 square foot gym: active, exercise-based care combined with hands-on treatment where it helps
– A registered kinesiologist on the team for delegated exercise rehab as needed
– A small, collaborative team: physiotherapy, kinesiology, massage therapy and part-time admin support
– Established six years, with most new patients coming through referrals and word of mouth
– No motor vehicle or WCB claims, so less reporting and more time to focus on patients

What we offer:

– A caseload to grow into: our current physiotherapist and kinesiologist are fully booked, and there’s steady demand for another physio
– Part-time to start (flexible weekday and weekend shifts), growing toward full-time as your caseload builds
– 60% of billings to start, with increases as your caseload grows
– Experienced teammates to learn from: a physiotherapist with nearly 15 years of clinical experience, and a kinesiologist who coaches Olympic weightlifting athletes competing at the national and international level
– Team case discussions every two weeks, plus one-on-one support in between
– Contractor position

Who we’re looking for:

– Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta (General Register)
– Early-career clinicians (0-3 years) encouraged; experienced physios welcome too
– Strength- and movement-oriented, evidence-informed approach
– Solid manual therapy skills to complement exercise-based care
– Comfortable working independently during appointments, with support through frequent one-on-one check-ins and team case discussions
– Dry needling authorization on your practice permit is an asset
– Curious, coachable, and comfortable helping patients become independent
– Reliable with charting, communication and follow-through
– Interested in building a caseload with us long-term
