Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, client-focused Registered Physiotherapist to join our growing clinical team. In this role, you will work closely with other practitioners to deliver comprehensive assessment, treatment, and functional rehabilitation plans for patients presenting with acute injuries, chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, and sports injuries.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate physical conditions, movement patterns, strength, joint mobility, and functional limitations.

Treatment Planning: Develop and implement customized, goal-oriented treatment programs utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and patient education.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate effectively with in-house chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.

Patient Education & Rehabilitation: Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise routines, ergonomics, and self-management strategies.

Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records, chart notes, and treatment plans in accordance with provincial regulatory guidelines and clinic standards (e.g., using Jane App).

Equipment & Modalities: Safely operate and integrate physical therapy modalities and advanced rehabilitation tools into treatment workflows where appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy / Physiotherapy from a recognized accredited university.

Licensing: Active registration and good standing with the provincial regulatory body (College of Physical Therapists of Alberta).

Insurance: Valid professional liability insurance.

Experience: Both experienced practitioners and strong new graduates are welcome to apply. Experience with chronic pain management or sports injury rehab is an asset.

Skills:

Strong manual therapy and therapeutic exercise prescription skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Strong problem-solving skills and dedication to evidence-informed practice.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team framework.
