Are you looking to escape the rigid demands and burnout of traditional private practices? PhysiGO Edmonton is looking for a client-focused, enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our growing team in Edmonton, Alberta.
This role is uniquely structured as an Independent Contractor position, which means you have absolute control over your schedule. Whether you are looking for part-time income, full-time hours, or a way to work around personal, family, or childcare needs, you set your own availability. You will travel directly to patients’ homes across the Edmonton area, providing critical, top-tier clinical care directly to individuals who face mobility barriers.

Key Responsibilities
  • In-Home Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive physical evaluations and establish specific physiotherapy diagnoses for patients within their homes.
  • Personalized Rehab Plans: Design and guide targeted treatment plans for a broad spectrum of needs, including lower back pain, arthritis, stroke rehabilitation, pre/post-surgical recovery, and fall prevention.
  • Independent Time Management: Autonomously schedule appointments, manage travel times throughout Edmonton, and handle electronic patient charting seamlessly.
  • Patient & Family Education: Empower clients and caregivers by coaching them on targeted home exercises and injury-prevention habits.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Professional License: Must be registered (or eligible for immediate registration) and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta (CPTA).
  • Reliable Transportation: Valid driver’s license and consistent access to a dependable vehicle to visit clients safely in the Edmonton area.
  • Proactive Self-Starter: Excellent communication skills, clinical reasoning, and comfort working independently in diverse home environments.|
