Sterling Physiotherapy and Wellness is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and skilled Physiotherapist to join our growing multidisciplinary healthcare team. Position Overview
The Physiotherapist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, sports, workplace, and motor vehicle accident injuries. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise programs
- Treat patients with sports injuries, chronic pain, arthritis, MVA injuries, WCB/workplace injuries, vertigo, concussion, neck/back pain, and post-surgical conditions
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, mobility, ergonomics, and home exercises
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required
- Deliver professional, compassionate, and patient-centered care
Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Active registration and good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and excellent patient care
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience treating MVA and WCB patients
- Training in dry needling, concussion rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, TMJ treatment, or manual therapy
- Experience with exercise prescription and rehabilitation programs
- Familiarity with direct billing and EMR software systems
