About the Role

The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing clients, developing treatment plans, delivering physiotherapy services within their scope of practice, documenting care, and communicating with clients and relevant stakeholders when appropriate.

The successful candidate will work with a team that supports organized scheduling, administrative coordination, billing support, and professional service delivery.

Responsibilities

Complete physiotherapy assessments in accordance with professional standards
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals
Provide physiotherapy interventions within the Physiotherapist’s competence and scope of practice
Deliver therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, education, and rehabilitation programming as appropriate
Manage private, WCB, MVA, and employer-referred cases where applicable
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation
Communicate professionally with clients, physicians, insurers, employers, and other care providers when required
Obtain informed consent and support clients in understanding their care plans
Participate in clinic operations, team communication, and quality improvement activities
Contribute to program development as Alberta Injury Management expands its Edmonton services
Maintain professional conduct consistent with the expectations of the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta

Qualifications

Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta, or eligible for registration
Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program
Professional liability insurance, as required
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to evidence-informed, client-centred care
Experience with WCB, MVA, return-to-work, orthopedic, sports injury, or active rehabilitation cases is an asset

About the Company

Alberta Injury Management is seeking a registered Physiotherapist to join our growing Edmonton team.

We provide physiotherapy and injury management services for clients with musculoskeletal concerns, workplace injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, sports-related injuries, and general mobility or function limitations.

This role is suitable for a Physiotherapist who values evidence-informed care, professional communication, accurate documentation, and client-centred rehabilitation.

Alberta Injury Management is building a modern rehabilitation and injury management platform focused on helping clients recover function, improve mobility, manage pain, and return to work, sport, and daily activity where appropriate.

Our Edmonton locations support a varied caseload, including private clients, WCB claims, motor vehicle accident claims, employer-referred cases, orthopedic conditions, active rehabilitation, and healthy aging programs.
