Exceptional patient service, collaborative care and continued growth and improvement are highly valued at Evidence Sport & Spine.  We are presently seeking a Part-Time enthusiastic Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team, with the potential to transition into a full-time role.

What We Are Looking For

A passion for pelvic health

Willingness to help grow your pelvic health caseload

Demonstrated ability to provide evidence‑based assessment and treatment for pelvic concerns

Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience

Ability to treat both male and female patients

Ability to take on MSK patients is a bonus, but not required

Demonstrated exceptional communication with patients and team members

Committed to an excellent patient experience

Strong work ethic and self-motivated

Professional and friendly demeanor

 

The Successful Candidate will have the Following Qualifications:

Degree in Physiotherapy

Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the CPTA

Valid liability insurance

Specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation: completed internal pelvic training courses in incontinence, pelvic pain, dyspareunia, pain management within a biopsychosocial framework, pregnancy and pelvic girdle pain or willing to pursue training in these areas

On Physiotherapy Alberta’s roster for use of needles in practice is an asset

Strong interest and knowledge in Manual Therapy

Excellent assessment and rehabilitation skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Professional development courses an asset

Evidence Sport and Spine implements the latest research to provide patients with a multidisciplinary approach to musculoskeletal pain management.  Be part of a team of highly trained advanced practice physiotherapists, pain physicians, and physiatrists, passionate about providing the highest standard in evidence-based care.

 

Our multidisciplinary clinic has multiple private rooms and a dedicated gym area. We have a large referral base from family medicine and allied health professionals throughout Calgary and are always working on new partnerships. The clinic develops and runs evidence-based programs such as our Urgent Back Pain Clinic, Concussion Clinic and Clinical Assessment Unit. Our team of Physiotherapists, Physiatrists, Physicians and Nurse Practitioner collaborate in further learning and social events.
