Physiotherapist – Lloydminster, AB

This position is eligible for $10,000 – $20,000 signing incentives, based on experience.

Welcome to Border City!  Lloydminster is unique in their geographical location, situated on the Alberta-Saskatchewan Border, with 4 of the world’s largest boarder markers.  Each marker representing a special theme including Agriculture, First Nations and Metis, Oil and Gas, and the Barr Colonists. The City is host to a number of events and festivities throughout the calendar year with an abundance of excitement and activities to choose from. Only located 2.5 hours from Edmonton and Saskatoon, provides easy day trips to the larger city centers. Lloydminster is surrounded by stunning landscapes and many outdoor adventures.

This clinic delivers both acute and complex interdisciplinary programing for both funded and private payors.  The clinical team is comprised of Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Aides, Kinesiologists, Physician, Psychologist, Massage Therapist, and Experience Associates. As a Physiotherapist at this location, you will have access to both a private treatment room along with a shared treatment area and large gym space.  This role provides the opportunity to work within a variety of services streams to further develop and advance upon your current skill set.  Internal mentorship and education, along with funding for external courses is available.

• Work with clients, in our acute and complex service streams, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, directed towards maintaining and enhancing their physical abilities, lifestyle and well-being
• Be responsible for managing and prioritizing clinical caseloads, and for the coordination and delivery of therapeutic services
• Participate in a collaborative care model providing holistic, comprehensive care to meet the needs of clients
• Promote positive relationships between clients, team members, funders and the community

What you need to be successful

• You are a graduate of a recognized School of Physiotherapy
• Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
• Passion about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
• A strong client-centered approach
