Details
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of private practice clinical experience in a physiotherapy setting
• Licensing: Registered member of the Physiotherapy Alberta College & Association (or eligibility for licensure).
• Skills & Competencies:
o Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
o Vestibular education and competency
o TMD education and competency
o Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise prescription, and minimal use of electrophysical modalities.
o Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a inter-disciplinary team.
o Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.

• Patient Assessment, Treatment Plans, Documentation & Reporting: As an experienced professional, you understand and implement all requirements of regulatory authorities.
• Rehabilitation & Recovery: Guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, massage therapists, kinesiologists, chiropractors) to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Patient Education: Provide patients with the tools, exercises, and strategies to manage their conditions independently and prevent re-injury. Foster a patient-centered approach to health education, self-management, and injury prevention.
• Professional Development: Have a heart for current latest research, techniques, and trends in physiotherapy. Participate in continuous learning through workshops, courses, and conferences.
